Little Spring Haul: Topshop, Lush & Primark
Hello everyone!
Today I went shopping in Leicester. I was actually hoping to find a dress for the Sports Awards ceremony I'm attending with the squash team at uni, but sadly nothing caught my eye. I did, however, pop into a few shops and picked up some bits and bobs so I thought I'd share them (please excuse the lighting quality - my good camera is missing batteries at the moment so I'm using my old one).
Firstly, I went to Topshop and bought this jumper (left of pic). Sorry I don't have a close-up picture of it, but it's the Topshop Long Sleeve Burnout Sweat in lilac, and I absolutely love it. It's really simple so it'll work with high waisted jeans, skirts, jeggings, anything. It's perfect for Spring, too, since it's still a little bit cold here in the UK but not really cold enough for super thick jumpers, and the colour is very Spring suitable :)
Then I went to Primark and bought this cute coral cross body bag. I don't have many handbags, but all the ones I do own are black and I thought it'd be nice to have a more colourful one for spring and summer. This is a great size and fits all my essentials in easily, and has a small zipped pocket inside for anything you want to keep extra safe. I tend to wear a lot of black and a bag like this will just add a pop of colour to an outfit that may otherwise look a bit drab.
I then went to Lush. It's impossible for me to walk past a Lush shop and not go in, and since our bathroom is being decorated and we're getting a shiny new bath soon, I thought it was time to buy a few treats for when everything's in place. I bought:
Sexbomb: Possibly my all time favourite Lush product. Fizzes out in your bath and leaves the water a gorgeous glittery pink/purple, and smells divine. I went to the Lush shop in Covent Garden a few years ago with a friend and we both made our own Sexbomb's and got to take them home :)
Sunnyside Bubble Bar: A recent discovery, and I think this is my second or third of these. The smell is so uplifting and slightly citrusy, and it produces SO many bubbles - more than any bubble bar I've tried! The water is left gold and shimmery and it's just an all round great product. Make sure to rinse your bath out afterwards, though, since it does leave the sides of the tub covered in gold!
Melting Marshmallow Moment: I love love love this. Smells just like the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar and the Snow Fairy shower gel, and turns your bath a subtle, creamy pink. It's also very hydrating and leaves your skin feeling super soft; plus, it contains chamomile which is perfect for calming any redness and soothing irritated skin.
Yuzu & Coco Bubbleroon Bubble Bar: One of my favourite bubble bars; this smells like summer. That's the only way I can describe it, but it's simply wonderful.
And that's my little haul. Hope you enjoyed :)
