Spot Fighters: Spring 2014
Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads £4.99 for 60 pads
Simple Spotles Skin Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes £3.85 for 25
Lush Grease Lightning £6.25
My skin is super sensitive and quite dry, as well as being spot and redness prone. Not great. I've been breaking out quite a lot recently even when I've been eating well, and I thought it was time to try some new things to help combat the blemishes. I started trying the Simple Spotless Skin Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes to take off my make-up, then washing my face with my usual Clinique facial soap, and then using the Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads over my chin area and down my nose. Since incorporating these two products into my evening skincare routine, my skin has improved SO much. I haven't had any breakouts in a couple of weeks (hope I haven't jinxed it), and my skin always feels so clean when I've finished. If I do get any spots, I've been liking the Grease Lightning spot gel from Lush - it's basically a tea tree gel that works best if you apply it before the spot arrives - like when you can just see a bit of a red bump. Pop some of this on and it dries over the area and usually nips it in the bud before it gets any worse! Great because it's all natural and doesn't have any harsh chemicals/fragrances/colours that are going to upset your skin.
Still on the hunt for something to help get rid of the few scars I have from spots, so if anyone knows of anything, do let me know!
