Spring Makeup Additions

I've bought a few new bits and bobs recently and thought I'd share them with you today!

First is the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector. I got the one for sensitive skin in the shade 'light' since I'm quite pale, and I tried it out today for the first time and love it! I bought it mainly for the summer months when it's too hot for a full face of makeup but I might still want a little something to cover any redness/spots.  This is really hydrating which my dry skin loves, gives a light coverage and really makes your skin glow. Happy with it so far!

Next is the Nyx Mega Shine Lip Gloss in 'Beige' (which is strange, since it isn't beige at all - it's actually pink). I've never really been a lip gloss lover - I prefer a matte lip and don't like anything too glossy/sticky/wet looking, but someone recommended the Nyx glosses to me and I thought I'd give this one a go since it's a nice neutral, everyday pink. I'm really liking it! It's quite a creamy consistency and isn't sticky, so it gives a nice pop of colour to your lips but doesn't make them look all gloopy and horrible. Perfect.

I also purchased the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette around Christmas since I'm not the best with eyeshadow and this palette contains great nude and natural shades.  At the moment I like wearing W.O.S all over the lid, Naked 2 in the crease and then a little bit of Faint on the outer corner to deepen it up a bit, and also along my bottom waterline. The colours are great and really easy to work with!

This isn't a recent purchase, but my MAC Bronzer in 'Soft Sand' has made a reappearance lately.  It was limited edition with the 2012 'Hey Sailor' collection so it's no longer available, but MAC still do bronzers in similar shades. It's just the perfect bronzer for summer. It might look dark in the pan but it just leaves the most gorgeous golden glow on your skin and is great for when you have a bit of a tan :)

Lastly, I bought the Eco Tools Eye Enhancing Duo Set. I didn't really have any eye make up brushes and I saw these in Boots and thought I'd give them a whirl. I have the blush brush from Eco Tools and I really love it (it's so soft!) so I decided to try these out too. They're double ended brushes and one brush has an eyeshadow brush on one end and a blending brush on the other, and the second brush has a shorter brush for smudging out any shadows, as well as an angled brush which is great for liner or filling in your eyebrows. Loving these brushes so far!

Bit of a rambly post but I thought I'd just share some new products I've been enjoying using :)
