Book Review: Wedding Night - Sophie Kinsella
Had a massive break after I finished uni and haven't updated this blog in such a long time! I went on holiday to Corfu with some uni friends which I might do a post on at some point, started a new job, and have just generally been really busy lately. However, I took some books on holiday with me so thought I'd do some reviews.
My friend Steph bought me two books for my birthday this year and one of them was Wedding Night by Sophie Kinsella. We always joke about how gloriously trashy her books are but how we secretly enjoy them, and this wasn't really any exception. I'd read The Undomestic Goddess by her a few years ago and it's still my go-to light read if I just want something to enjoy by the pool. This follows the life of Lottie who suddenly decides her long time boyfriend is no longer the one for her, and decides to shack up with her old gap year boyfriend in Greece, and her sister Fliss' desperate attempts to make her see sense. It's just a light hearted, fun read and Sophie Kinsella definitely has a way of keeping you hooked to the end. Just provided a bit of light relief after all the dense books I'd had to read over the past few years at uni.
Would definitely recommend for a fun summer read :)
